We at Cómpetaonline.es suggest that the marketing strategy and plan for the village drawn up by the previous town hall administration is discussed at the next meeting of ADECOM. Almijarinfo and Cómpetaonline (in conjunction with Typically Spanish, Ocio Axarquia and all the businesses who advertise in Cómpetaonline) are all keen to promote the village. We all need to be of a like mind and revisit the plan for economic and tourism development. Cómpetaonline is being well received with over 13000 hits on the web site in the two months of its launch, as well as over 120 downloads of the .pdf guide. Caledonian Iberian ConeXions has been instrumental in developing a number of local projects in Scotland and are keen to do the same in Cómpeta.
