ADECOM is not a funding body
Further to some emails which we have received over the last few months, we would like to point out that ADECOM is not a funding body and will not be giving grants to businesses. The role of ADECOM is to bring businesses together for developmental benefit, to assist businesses with obtaining grants, to have one voice when there is a problem (such as the entrance to the village being closed as at the beginning of the year.) In the meantime, there is a link to sources of grants on the web site at http://www.iberacal.eu which will be moved to the new association web site when it is up and running. You can also contact Leo in the Cómpeta town hall for advice on grants - new money will come on line in January and again in March. In the meantime, Caledonian Iberian ConeXions can help with identifying and preparing the paperwork for grants on a commercial basis. We have a lot of experience of this in Scotland and, through our developmental arm (the equivalent of ADECOM) have accessed over 200000 pounds of public money in 5 years for the benefit of the north of Scotland. The Caithness & Sutherland Walking Festival and the Dunnet Head tourist information centre are two such projects. If you are looking to start a business, develop your business, or are looking for a grant from the new funding, please contact us for an initial chat. Tel: 629406516
