"LetsGoNorth localizado en Escocia y Smart Holidays Andalusia de Málaga, han unido sus fuerzas para promocionar ambos destinos a través de un apasionante proyecto de desarrollo rural. LetsGoSouth, la empresa hermana de LetsGoNorth, fue creada en mayo de 2013 y está cada vez mas presente. Tina Irving, Directora de LetsGoNorth, lleva visitando Andalucia desde hace 30 años y dirige una empresa de energía solar en Cómpeta desde los 80. Se considera una apasionada de España y de todo lo relativo a su cultura. Manuel respondió un anunció en un foro on line (Dígame) con lo que Tina quedó encantada de haber atraído a un socio de tal calibre. Estuvo preparando este proyecto desde hace varios años y está muy contenta de tener a alguien de la experiencia y conocimientos de Manuel a bordo.

Tina acabó sus estudios en The London South Bank University y aun conserva buen contacto gracias a la empresa social, the Dunnet Head Educational Trust, de la que es fundadora. Dunnet Head es, por supuesto, el punto mas septentrional de la isla de Gran Bretaña. Los clientes de LetsGoNorth se beneficiarán del marketing en España tal y como hicieron en el pasado unos años atrás cuando Tina dirigió algunas exposiciones en Canillas de Albaida y participó en FITUR en Madrid. Red de contactos y exposiciones en el Reino Unido serán los puntos que aumentarán la presencia de ambas organizaciones, como por ejemplo, la serie de conferencias culturales que Smart Holidays Andalusia, en colaboración con Ayuntamientos y la asociación NADFAS (incluyendo Gibraltar) tiene en su agenda.



Manuel, licenciado en la Universidad de Málaga, ha estado participando en numerosos proyectos de Desarrollo Rural y de Evaluación Ambiental para gobiernos locales. Actualmente trabaja en la promoción del patrimonio cultural y natural de Andalucía a través del Turismo “smart” en SHA.



El material commercial ya se está distribuyendo y las webs www.letsgonorth.com and www.letsgosouth.co.uk se han actualizado con los últimos cambios.



Este tipo de colaboración es muy importante para el Turismo por lo que deseamos que haya una larga y fructífera colaboración."


"LetsGoNorth based in Scotland and Smart Holidays Andalusia based in Malaga have joined forces to promote both destinations in an exciting new rural tourism development project. LetsGoSouth, the sister company of LetsGoNorth, was launched in May 2013 and is already gaining momentum. Tina Irving, Director of LetsGoNorth, has been visiting Andalucia for over 30 years and ran a solar energy company in Competa in the 1980s. She is an aficionado of Spain and everything Spanish. Manuel Garcia responded to an advertisement on Digame and Tina reports that she was delighted to be able to attract a partner of such high calibre. She has spent several years planning this project and she is delighted to have someone with Manuel's experience and knowledge on board. Tina is a graduate of London South Bank University and still has close ties with them through the social enterprise, the Dunnet Head Educational Trust, of which she is the founder. Dunnet Head is of course the most northerly point of the UK mainland. LetsGoNorth's clients will benefit from the marketing in Spain as it has done in the past when Tina launched exhibitions in Canillas de Albaida some years ago, and attended FITUR in Madrid. Networking and exhibitions in the UK will raise the profile of both organizations and Smart Holidays Andalusia is planning a series of presentations through a number of city halls and NADFAS associations (even in Gibraltar).

Manuel is a graduate of Malaga University, he has been participating in several projects of rural development and Environmental Assesment for the local government and currently is working on the promotion of the Andalusian cultural & natural heritage through the smart tourism in SHA.
