Individual emails regarding the road closure and other Cómpeta issues will not be responded to. If people cannot put things on this forum which has been set up for the specific purpose of collecting responses for people to see, they will not get a reply. We all have our own views, that is clear, but censorship is not the answer! It´s the town hall who should be answering questions, not an individual business.

What happened to the days when everyone in Cómpeta used to work together - sadly lost in the mists of time.

Quite right!!!
It beggers belief that there are only 9 registered members on the forum and yet everyone I bump into in the village has an opinion on what should be done to correct matters that have gone wrong in Competa. Maybe it´s the British winge mentality. How long before they leave Spain and try somewhere else? Utopia is a state of mind not a real place, YOU have to make thing work where ever you are, not rely on others to do it for you.

You´re right - even though I am in Scotland, I still manage this forum. There were lots of people at both business meetings we set up - where are they all? Why are they not using the forum? John is quite right - people are always willing to moan and not do anything. I love Cómpeta - I´ve been going there for 22 years - and am saddened by its demise. Maybe somebody can post exactly WHAT the town hall are doing.

No one seems to be using the forum. I have not been in Competa since July when Pepe Perico was talking about setting up another meeting. Lisa Stilling was not around when I was in Competa, but I thought she and Pepe were going to set up another meeting. It seems that there is nothing going on. Please contact Steve Brogan at steve@brogan-properties.eu or Lisa Stilling at Inland Properties, or Pepe Perico to find out what is happening. I am not in Spain.
